TrekWeather is built by Bret and Bricelyn in Colorado. No investors, no ads, no corporate sponsor, no private equity, and no venture capitalists. Premium helps pay for forecast data, maps, infrastructure, and the careful improvements that make mountain trips easier to plan.

Built from a Colorado cabin.
Your upgrade supports the people behind the tool, not a media network or ad platform.
Meet the buildersI built TrekWeather because I genuinely needed it.
In 2015, I was on Mount Bierstadt when lightning struck and injured 15 people nearby. I wasn't one of them, but that moment changed everything. NOAA had the data I needed, but it wasn't mobile-friendly. Everything else just showed the nearest town, 2,000 feet below.
TrekWeather exists for the actual place you're going, at the elevation where you'll actually be. It is a small, focused tool for people who love being outside.
Free is good for a quick look. Premium gives you the deeper tools for planning a real trip.

This is why I built it.
Premium helps TrekWeather stay independent and ad-free. It pays for forecast data, maps, infrastructure, and the next careful improvement.
TrekWeather grows by word of mouth. If you know a hiker, skier, or peak-bagger who deserves better forecasts, send them this way.
